Driving home tonight from Sunderland to home (about 210mile) i noticed the clock was a little unusual as it was a little bit dimmer than normal. Suspected it was just the dash dimmer switch being out and upped the brightness. About an hr later i get a ABS, Traction Control, and the Serv light...

Idiot.... Anyway, the damn thing failed again tonight on the way home. Just got towed home as i broke down about 8-40pm. Alternator is not charging. Wonder when they can fit me in to have this alternator replaced.

Why is it a stupid comment. Its true tho. Most of them which are decent go for about £12-14k meanwhile the clio has dropped another £500 in price. Id rather have a cossie, one which has had sensible mods, and therefore about 270bhp... ive seen a few. Compare the clio against something like...

Naa, id rather have the escort cosworth.. If i never relied upon the warranty incase things went wrong, id have one... Then again, renault warranty is no much better than doing it myself.

i dont like the Clio 182... Too slow compared to other cars out there..

Get the local renault dealer to ring them. Or tell renault its missing one..and you want it fixing..

You never bought it from Reg Vardy Renault in Sunderland did you.? When i bought mine, we swapped all the bad bits onto this poor little 182. The wheel, the door trim. (the door trim was scored, the wheel was kerbed) My car is a HV04, had the shopping list ClioCup RenaultSport...

Some pics of the kit, as you can see ive removed it from the car. All is there to put the kit onto a Clio 182 / 172. Cant put the item in the forsale section as im only a forum user.

Problem with a drive out is that if they spot anything wrong with the car, like my shock was leaking, you cant drive the car back, and if they dont have a car for you your stuck. My old clio had a leaking water pump which was changed on the service..

Got a camera tho dont think it can record sound. Its definately louder than standard up too about 4.5k rpm then it goes quiet.. Im up in Peterlee (Nr Sunderland / Hartlepool) if anyone wants to come see it. May take it off later as we dont like it. Sounds a bit OTT for what we use the car for.

So, can the bhp be relied upon then.? What about the increase in bhp then.? Can that be confirmed as accurate ish.?
