Not had it rr'd as not had the need. Not really wanted to modify the car to get it checked out. Was going to do a rr day with the local car club and missed out on it. Nice to get someone to do it for me for free. Glad to see the filter is far more expensive than i originally thought so...

Just found the filter.. Its £190 on eBay to buy at the moment. Found one online retailer selling it for £155 ish, tho did not look to far into it and what fitting kit it had with it. The kit is here on eBay, tho suspect no Clio 182 fitting kit has been made yet...

Renault can fix anything, just what else they damage in the process is the the problem. Inspect the car before the AA man takes it away..

Id just ask is it worth it.? With 250bhp through a front wheel car it maybe not worth it. Dont know if there is a way to make the clio rear wheel drive, or even better four wheel drive. Id just buy a meganne 225, and work on that.

Clio went in to the place today. Asked them about the air / fuel ratio and was informed that the ECU should take account of that of the airflow sensor, and the lambada sensor in the exhaust. Just been watching Fifth Gear on Channel 5, i filled the car full of normal 95 ron unleaded, should of...

But can they remap the car.? Surely if the ram air affects the engine then it should be done.. So if they fit the filter package, and leave it fitted the car needs remapping to suit the extra air flow. Tho if they remove it, then the car should be ok.. Have to ask all this in the morning...

The car runs, just the light on the dash. Looked at previous threads and thought it was the engine toxic fume light (box with wiggily line in it). I know what a coil is, so a coil pack would be all 4 together. If the car runs fine, how can this affect the dash light.?

Ooh, how much is that gonna cost them.? Car is on 40k ish, original exhaust. Where would you take the car to, whats a coilpack.?

And how much is a cat for a 1.2 16v clio roughly...

Update, its the Exhaust light thingy. What checks can we do to try to split the system down to work out what is not working, not want them to take it to renault. Any way to check the cat.?
