First (easy) port of call is tyre pressures. Whenever mine have been out I have noticed a huge difference when corrected. Next, I would say get your alignment checked. After that, you're probably looking into investigating whether certain suspension parts are on their way out.

No I don't think so. They are scaled down slightly to fit the plate I think, therefore it is an illegal plate.

I definitely didn't ask for it to sound broken.

It's easy enough to do, but mine took a good 30-45 minutes, which included backing up and uploading the new map. It's quite boring sitting there waiting for it to finish :p
