sorry to sound stupid but is the ECM your on about also ECU?? The one under the glove box, which is the earth pin? Can i just take the connector out without causing problems?

just undo the top cap and drop it in, replace top cap

got 0.08 on the one behing the headlight and the one on the back of the box by the diff

i think my prob is actually on the top strut mounting an the top ov the leg

measure the top mounts??

where do i test the resistence??? Which 2 points do i put the meter across.

ive just put the washers under the top mounts and now they are sitting at different heights

just took it of and give it a clean. light still on

UPDATE!!! Its all going well so should be sorted this week. just waiting for payment off the other side to cover the cost of the hire car but i was wondering if i go elsewhere for insurance will i have to tell them about a non fault claim even thou i wasnt the driver

make sure all the HU and sub are off and test the alternator is charging the battery. start the car and disconnect the battery leads (- first) and the car should still run.
