I dont think weight is such an issue with diesels as they pull pretty much consistantly even with a load. Yours wont exactly be "slow" either though, could probably see off a few supposedly "quicker" cars. Standard is in the region of 150bhp and most seem to be consistant woth this, but I...

Ally, RR'd at 196.9bhp and 305lbs/ft. Not quite 200bhp but they have been ran at 206bhp also. It gave the owner of an old skool Impreza WRX a bit of a shock the other night, actually left it for dead.

I've got an integrated graphics card on the mobo (I think), its a pretty poor computer to be honest. Not sure if I have the disc for monitor driver or the like. Need a new one anyway so thats an excuse to go get a new monitor :p Thanks anyway.

This evening when I get in from work my Mum is moaning because the computer wont start. Got the screen saying "Start in safe-mode/normally/last good configuration" but in every option it would just restart and repeat. Eventually I decided just to reformat the computer, pain in the jacksie...

I also ran at Star the weekend before too with a Vauxhall meet. I got 193bhp & 276lbs/ft as did two other Astras, one of them belonging to the owner of DTUK who makes my chip, he said the torque figures were very low and they expected much higher (around 290-310lbs/ft). Power at the wheels...

5k since its been chipped, was about 4k before. Still pulls from 40 -100+ in 4th gear though, then another two to go.

I have to agree with Ali, not my cuppa at all. Phase 2 rear lights, xenons, take the spoiler off and put on some smaller wheels.

Most of the 1*2s were putting out standard power apart from Eckocliosvalver (whatever his user name is) had some problems and only got 130ish bhp. And Johns flamer got 165bhp I think. Doubt anyone will match my torque figure though lol.

Next time I wont act like a fnny infront of your camera. Good pics!
