no matter how much it costs i still wouldnt claim off the insurance, why loose ur no claims just for a done in door. Get to a renaul; breakers and get the door an should only cost about £150 for the spray. U can do the rest urself like putting the new locks, windows etc in. Job Done

plaster it in wd40 and then leave it to soak in an give it a few taps with the hammer whilst moving it back and forth. Thats how i got mine off when it was solid

Mite be a bit of the arch lining hanging down or summat, if it does it on full lock could be the driveshaft

Aint to sure tbh wit ya pal, myne only works on 1 and 2 but put it on the highest setting an it just goes off. Mite be a loose connection on the back of the switch but apart from that i aint got a clue tbh. Sorry pal, mayb someone else will be along soon who mite be able to help us both lol...

Iv just been up to a local specialist for a quote on a custom exhaust on me mk1. I was quoted £190 for a full system or £130 for a decat back. Doesnt really help u out but could give u a rough idea lol
