As far as i know u only pay ur excess on ur own damage. But thats only if u claim for ur car to be repaired. If u fix it urself without the insuance being involved then u shouldnt have to pay the excess.

My mates insured under quinn. Hes happy with their service and says their quite cheap aswel. as for Verns comment, im sure ud give a biased opinon whilst ur working in the industry. Im sure that ur probably insured under the company u work for and therefore have never actually dealt with quinn...
