Where are u based. Go to @MicKPM at diamond motors in Nottingham. He sorted my timing. Cant recommend the bloke enough tbh. Costs 60 plus vat to check it and if it needs adjusting costs around 170 all together
You serious? ? Mine was like a hot knife through butter literally 5 mins job done. What on earth are you doing. It took me longer to walk to my car than the actual job. Drop us a picture of it.all
As above. .the filter location shown on that pic will.have a lot of head soak thus losing power. But with some extra pipe.work as per fattys initial post you can locate the filter behind the passenger headlight eliminating heat soak as its getting plenty of cold air in this location. At least...
Ur pipe like everyone eles will.probs come tomorrow. Its getting plenty of cold air bein located being the headlight so it shouldn't. Post up ur opinion when u have it.all fitted up
It felt awfully slow in comparison to a150 bhp ST. you may of read my thread about that.. took it down to mick at diamond motors it had the wrong plugs in and it was timed up incorrect
Generally they are all crap below 5k. Unless you have an rstuner map on it. They're lumpy to a degree on idle but not excessively. If it's jumping about a bit as mine was that would indicate an issue. Where are you having your belts done
Thats good news. I had a k&n on my mg zr 160 that just bogged it right down to be honest.. but there wasnt a particular good location on the k series for best cold air as opposed to the clio
Absolutely.. like you say biggest thing for ne now is clocking overall performance gain if any or most importantly any loss. As said I haven't noticed any but engine hasnt really warmed up on my way to work to notice any so hoping for your feeedback soon @imprezaworks
Yeah impreze that was to you. Thanks I.also have ocd so would notice a drop. Fatty yeah that's my opinion also.. so imho to.all whos bought one of recent I think its worth the 37 quid.. will give it a proper test over the wkend on my trip to devon
I personally am going to stick to what I've got think it's more beneficial to have a slightly smaller one. As you say it'll only get more damaged using the bigger one.
