I only walk if its snowing or if i've been to the pub so don't worry about luggage!
No thats not me, but I know the one you mean.
Mine had white wheels until recently, now i'm back on the Turinis.
Your more likely to see me in the beemer. So if you notice a black 5 series steering from...
Not a bad car, but still over priced IMO. When they are 2k hacks I may run around in one, but wouldn't trade the clio for it unless you were in the market for a different car and were sure you could sell that one on to make a profit for your new car. If its just because the offer was there, then...
I have never seen it when driving funnily enough.
First time was on xmas eve while walking back from the pub, and the times after that were in the town centre. May not be local.
Il keep an eye out for you Ed. And if I see you I will flag you down for a passenger ride :rasp:
I would say more so a drivers car oposed to the 172. But there are many other cars which are more 'drivers car' than the cup.
I had a 306 GTi6 before the cup, and the rallye was 'the one to have'. I always felt better having the half leather, the electric windows and the air con which the...
As mentioned, I will confirm it is a reading of how many gallons you have used since you reset it. Its so that instead of seeing how miles you have used since you filled up/started a road trip you can see how many gallons you have consumed.
But, by all means tell your mates its a G meter. Only...
I would guess that as they look the same as the Ktec ones that they are probably using the casings from the same manufacturer, but the internals could be better on the Ktecs.
Like Ktec said, they put their own warranty on them so they must have faith in the products.
Taking the calipers apart is going to be my last plan. The handbrake operates it fine, and no fluid is coming from the pipe to the caliper so its going to be something before then.
At some point I will take them apart and clean them up anyway, but hopefully the fault will lie with the brake...
Right,
Had a free dry day so had another look at the car, I took the brake pipe off the caliper to see if there was any fluid coming from this as there wasnt anything coming from the nipple. The pipe slightly dripped, where there should obviously be alot of pressure.
Tried the other rear...
Held the disc while the pedal was applied and it gripped, but didnt think about putting the wheel back on and trying it :o
I wasn't aware there was an order, so cheers for that!
Looking a possibility.
Will get it up on a ramp and check every avenue.
The mate that can have a look at it...
They are testing it on the footbrake.
The caliper was sticky, but was wound out and seemed alright after. Suprised me that the reading is showing as absoloute zero.
I will be bleeding it and checking the lines throughout at the weekend.
I put it down to lack of use and short journeys.
Took my cup for its MOT on Sat, and it failed on the rear braking. 0 one side, 10kg of braking force on the other.
I went home and read up on the VOSA newsletter thing to see whether that was to be expected and had a mate take a look at it as he is also an MOT tester. He took the brakes apart...
Just re ran a quote on their site to see what difference it would make with the no claims bonus, and it went up 400 quid. So ran exactly the same quote as I went through with, and its £500 more. So I won't be ringing them incase they want me to pay more!
Guess its the change of insurance groups?
Suprises me to be honest!
Its fair, but not the kind of thing I would expect them to allow.
Oh. And Admiral never did bother to get back to me yesterday, so I will have to ring them at some point later today. In the mean time I will bring the quote up on confused and see how much cheaper my...
Excellent.
If they mirror them, and offer the same discount as if the NCB was used on both cars, why don't they allow them to be used on more than one vehicle.
I don't know if I am right in saying, but if I mirrored my 4 years NCB on the second vehicle, had an accident, I would go from 0...
Its Admiral that offered me to save money. Was really suprised actually as I started getting shirty with him thinking he was just trying to offer car hire.
Will report back later how much moolah they are giving me back.
I have 4 years NCB on the clio with one company,
Insured the BMW with Admiral but mentioned I have NCB used on another car with another company and that I would be having 0 years NCB on this BMW policy. The lad on the phone confirmed that was the case.
Got a phone call from them today...
