    Corrupt files on 360 HDD

A while back, my NFS underground save file became corrupt, and then a few weeks after the DVD drive failed. I treated this as a coincidence and never bothered to get it fixed. Now I have bought another elite as it worked out near enough the same price as getting my old one repaired. So I have...

    172 Cup; Start -> Now

Shame, not seen this thread before and just had a good read. If you decide to buy it back from the insurers in the event of them writing it off, I would be interested in your rear bumper and exhaust system. I know its cheeky, but worth a mention!

    Selling broken 360 elite

My 360 elite has had a faulty dvd drive for a while now, and I have been too lazy to do anything about it. Now Forza 3 is out, I neeed to get gaming again!! I was wondering how much my elite would be worth to someone who wants to repair it. I can't get on ebay in work, and have no net at home...

how different is a 172cup to drive versus 182?

Has it been serviced regularly? I gave mine a full overhaul when I got it a few months ago and has been very economical. Was suprised how good it was on fuel actually to cars I have had in the past.

how different is a 172cup to drive versus 182?

Thats what I can get from mine. Have managed once to get high 40s when driving behind a lorry on the motorway at 56mph. Doing 70 on the motorway will easily return at least 40mpg Hardly ever drive it like that though. Low 30s when hooning it is common. Has always been great on fuel. Just...

    Self camber adjustment

Ah right, centre. Suppose a pair of digital verniers to get it near enough in the centre should get it good enough for a little light use. But I expect there are tolerances that mean it needs to be adjusted to match externally rather than exactly on the bolt spacing. Rears are defo something...

    Self camber adjustment

I have had some Ktec coilovers now since Day 1 and havn't got round to getting them fitted as I have been looking into taking it somewhere to get it done and all set up. Enough is enough and rather than pay extra for fitting, which I could do myself, I have decided I may aswell fit them and...

    Free phoneline connection?

I am after broadband so need a phone line rental. Anyone know of any deals that offer free/cheap phone line connection? The house I am in had an active BT line, but since I moved in a few weeks ago I havent joined BT or anyone, and the Post Office want £107 to sort the line out. The guy on...

    360, clearing cache?

Been hearing about this a lot lately. Is it recommended? Is it likely to mess anything up? I am no longer connected to the internet so don't want to do it if it is going to cause more problems. Only reason I ask is that my 360 sometimes freezes so thought it may be worth a go if its rish...

    The 'Cup' leg-end

When I needed a new car, I looked at the 172s as they were cheap and looked like a little nippy hatch. I scanned the net, found a clio in a nice blue, saw it was a cup. I then thought I want a clio in that colour, read more into the cup and then decided I wanted the rawer car. None of my...

Xbox 360 warranty for previous repairs

In case of a future search by someone. The answer to the question: "When an xbox 360 is repaired, is the warranty extended?" The answer is yes, but only for 3 months. Which is a bit of a bummer in my case! Hmmm slimline ps3 release meaning lower prices on the ps3 near christmas... Tempting!

    K-Tec Stealth - Too Loud?

I expect you got used to it, thats why it now sounds quieter. I got a magnex system for my GTi-6 and was disapointed when it wasn't much louder than standard. After a while it got fairly loud, but not raspy. I liked it. All my mates said it was bloody loud for a NA car with just an exhaust and...

Xbox 360 warranty for previous repairs

My 360 elite had the 3 rings fault 14 mnoths after I bought it. I was out of the 12 months warranty, but as the 3 rings are covered for 3 years, I got it repaired for free. Great I thought. The Motherboard was replaced, along with the DVD drive - which wasnt faulty IMO, but meh. All free! A...

Well sky only want £10 a month for line rental, so I would be best off using them and having broadband through them too. Only thing, is I dont want to pay the landlord £120 when I leave to have their line with BT again!
