They are ~£400 IIRC on the bay, so less than that if enough people are interested I imagine. Nobody has set one up, we are just gauging interest to see if there is the demand for one being set up
^ you can take the gti to 140 and practially roll a fag and adjust your seat at the same time.
In the clio it feels like your going to blow down the road like a bin lid in a gale
You can take the tank out as it slides out the back, but there are sides attatched which hold the canopy on the top. I am collecting it late tomorrow night so will have to take my tools to see if it can be dismantled, but I doubt it can. May be lucky.
Im going to try and take the bottom of the...
Has anyone had to treansport a large fish tank in a clio?
I need to get something like this :
In the back
Problem is, the one im getting is identical, bar the fact the lid is attatched via the sides!
Tank its self measures 3 foot long, and its about 4 foor tall so I think I have no...
Thing is I want everything yesterday so will get some amber ones tomorrow at a motor factors
The 182 doesnt look fried egg like though does it as they are frosted? Its the main reason I went for these genuine Renault items as they arent clear and cheap looking.
Got some 182 clear repeaters from Renault, and today when I went to fit them I realised that my cup just has clear bulbs in the amber lenses! So obviously that would be illegal so I have had to abandon that little job until I can get some orange 501 5w bulbs. So the 182 must come with orange...
Part number 8200257684 - clear side repeaters from the 182.
Only thing I am annoyed about is that the cup has clear bulbs as it has orange lenses so I have to go find some orange ones or silver ones. But the 182s must use orange as standard and you cant see too much orange through them can you?
Chucked the longer one on the drivers side. The ones that were on there were both 20s. To be fair the 21 gives good clearance, and the passenger one is ok too considering its only 18"
Fair enough. Thing is, the wipers on the clio are LHD, so wonder whether I should put the longer one on the 'passenger' side. Which was built as their drivers side. hmm
Bought some aero blades at the weekend as I needed new blades and like the look of them. I flicked throught a book that stated the clio used 1 18" and 1 21" blade. Trusted what it said and went along with it but now im wondering if I should have gone and just bought a pair of 21s!
Going to...
Got some from renault in the end.
Cost £20.54 for the 2, but to be honest, Ive seen loads of the cheap looking ones go for 13ish quid and always perfer proper genuine parts that will fit perfect, and look nicer IMO than clear clear that need silver bulbs
Will update with the part numbers for...
Got some wheels last week, bought some spigots so they would fit and gave them a clean and then popped them on yesterday. Car feels nicer now as I had 2 different tyres on the back and it made it a bit scatty before.
Ive noticed that the bugger torque steers now more than before than the 16s...
Does anyone know the part number of the clear side repeaters on a clio 182?
I want to freshen up my 172 cup with some clear side repeaters but dont want the perfectly clear aftermarket affairs.
A rough price also would be handy.
I have searched..
