the tensioner when all the way to the end of its bolt, everything plugged in, the only thing i unplugged is the small black pipe going from the inlet manifold to the driver side headlight area as it was in my way
it started when the tensioner was not bolted correclty and started making a noise so i cut the engine, after i adjusted the belt (didnt even look if it was out of time just took it off) it wouldnt start, the engine just turns over no sign of it catching to start though,

ive checked it yea, lines on the belt mark up with the lines on the pulleys im giving myself some time out for a an hour to cool my head to think will check again then. its a 1.2 16v d4f if it matters

doing a cambelt on my car (i would say i have a very good level of mechanical skill) all going ok,
time to put the new belt on.... the cam pulley slips, a quick phonecall to fred (Awesome guy!) got me on the right...

Dont criticise the shacking as i was freezing my tits off at the time lol was pretty much on full zoom aswell.
i had a gap about 1/2 to 2/3rds that size in my alloy missing, used liquid metal from halfords to fill it. sat there for hours. now its been painted over its immpossible to know its there
Don't think ill be attempting a oc. The mobo has the option via BIOS and a switch next to the vga output but I've not got the cooling capabilities nor the patience LOL

I'll start off with its a new install of windows 7 pro and brand new hard drive from western digital. All drivers installed nothing else.
The problem is that from pressing the power button it takes a minute for the screen to turn onto the NVIDIA xfx splash screen (bios)
What can cause this...
Im changing my cambelt in a few weeks once i have the parts and tools needed. is it worth my doing my head gasket at the same time? im starting to get milky deposits in my oil filler cap and the engine itself is caked in oil. most of the oil itself appears to be coming from the rocker cover but...

last night we changed the engine of my mates car (mk2 ph2 old style 1.2 16v engine)
The engine is of the same type, code etc reason for swap was old engine was aproaching 145,000 miles so we sourced a 40,000 mile engine.
now the engine had started and we reversed off the drive and drove up...
