Just see your post on there Jon!
I've talked to DT a lot about compensation for damage replacement tyres etc etc. Here’s the response…
""Regrettably, as previously mentioned by Sian, the failure of these tyres is not covered under the terms of warranty due to their application and use on...
Yes mate i was there cracking weekend, was meant to be going this easter as well, but obviously can't now!!
Colway have gone bust now anyway, so can't get them anymore! No wonder if they produced tyres like that eh!!
Yeah I heard they were reasonable as well, but erm...they ain't good LOL!
Yeah i've seen a lot on here go recently, to be fair it hasn't had an easy life at all, from day one really!
I'll be taking it to Mark for sure, just a matter of getting the car to him and looking at the funds...

lol my standard clutch that died about 3 years ago just turned to dust and just gave up!
This ones had a good innings and quite a lot of abuse, so kind of expected, thought i may as well get the gearbox done as well as the clutch is out!
Good stuff, time to get the wallet out then, cheers chaps.
Oh and while we are here, costs for a gearbox rebuild lol, yes that is on it's last legs also!!
*It doesn't rain....it pours*
Group N again it is then!
Never heard of valeo before, compared to Helix (which has just gon on mine) which would be better? Is there much cost difference?
It doesn't.....it broke last night lol
That was a helix group N, seen me through over 15 track days though and 4 trips to the ring
Could a standard one handle that much abuse?!
Didn't you get a better release bearing for yours as well Ben? Where was that from?
Can anybody recommend a good comp clutch or track day clutch to go for? Any idea of prices?
Also any ideas as to where i can find a better than standard release bearing, found some on tweeks but no idea what to get??!?
My helix group N has just thrown it's toys out of its pram, nice...
Sanspeed in Bexleyheath are really good. They sorted my live map for my cup. Got new rollers too, for a simple power run i think it's £40. For a rolling road tune/diagnosis it's about £110
