Its the UCH playing up - if you go to turn the key and theres nothing at all its the UCH - have you got access to a "clip" renault diagnostic computer ? this will confirm the problem and check through all the sensors and terminals to make sure everything is ok.

Whats the fault when you go turn key - does nothing happen ??
Does it attempt to turn over but not fire ?
If nothing happens at all i bet you its the UCH thats at fault
Have you checked the plip key to make sure the plip is emmiting a radio frequency ?
I think its the UCH...

Were did you get that number from ? Im going off a clio 1.2 8v D7F 720 engine ( CB0A ) old number is 7700101969 ...... which then superseeded to 8200643171 which was then changed to 8200436025 and has now changed to 8200396919 - any of these 4 numbers will be fine

Some boxes will have a lower or higher ratio than the original box intended for the vehicle. Some people change them for sprinting / track days to suit there own preferences
Internals are different - there are hundreds of different JB1 boxes and JB3 boxes and i could spend the next two hours going through the different types and internal differences.
Do you think you could have possibly hit a bit of black ice ? if the wheel came into contact and span a micro inch and then got traction that would be enough to send the warning light on. If it doesnt happen again it will most likely be that. If the problem persists and it comes on for no reason...
depending on which idler it is ? pulleys can usually be bought in kits ie - cambelt kit or an alt belt kit ( both contain the tensioner pulley / jockey wheel ) you can buy them seperate but i recommend you fit the kit
