Its the torque that creates the problem - the JC5 129 box struggles with the standard F4R lump with 172 bhp. You can get the boxes strengthened for around £400.

Cool blue 106 octane - run your 172 on this and it will put a smile on your face ( £35 for 20 lts so save it for the track )

£8k ???? thats a lot of money for what they actually do - be careful with the box .... they last 2 minutes in them

Change the wishbones - fit polyurethane bushes in them whilst your at it ( powerflex ) have you used the standard sub frame ?? i would also change the shockers as well mate
