Its the torque that creates the problem - the JC5 129 box struggles with the standard F4R lump with 172 bhp. You can get the boxes strengthened for around £400.
every 5 years or 72 k whatever comes first ( Renault recommendations )
My recommendation is every 3 years / 50k - change the tensioner pulleys + aux belt + aux belt tensioner as well

Change the wishbones - fit polyurethane bushes in them whilst your at it ( powerflex ) have you used the standard sub frame ?? i would also change the shockers as well mate

lift your bonnet and the oval plate number along with chassis number is pot riveted to the o/s head light panel. Most common white colour is 389 but they can differ.
