57mm is about 2.25 inches.. thought the optimum was about 67mm.. i ran about with my custom exhaust (64mm bore) for months, noticing only a small gain, then had it remapped and there was a massive difference in torque.

Front Disks and Pads = £155 - that sounds on the high side..

what bore is the exhaust? any plans to get it remapped?

Looks like a sports cat to me too... plug both sensors in.. If you can shine a torch into it, cat's usually have a few layers of gauze/mesh in them (something about trapping hydro-carbons n' that)
