what's wrong with the big click just before they wipe? It's just letting you know it isn't gonna fail this time... 'cos it will fail eventually - usually when its not drizzling but banging it down! lol !
best case scenario to get resprayed is £100 per panel and no car for a few days..
bang some touch up paint on it to protect it if you're not gonna get it sprayed for a few weeks just to be safe
externally its measures approx. 57mm
internally it measures approx. 42mm
thats just before the cat, and allow a tolerance of 3-4mm 'cos my hands are shaking with the cold.

yeah, connector's are different, just cut the connectors off bare the wire and connect them manually.
Washer pipe had to be lengthened on mine... couple of quid for pipe at halfords
keep the cup and as MarkCup says "Spend £350 on some recaros/buckets for the Cup if you need something new to keep you interest and keep your cash in your pocket"
Bumper off involves 2 x bolts in wheel arch, about 4 screws in there too, then about 6 screws under front lip of bumper IIRC. 20 mins if you know what you are doing..

I had a viper on for a month and wasn't that impressed with it - but it could've been due to the fact that I didn't spend ages getting the cold air feed pipe in the perfect spot though..
I had to take the bumper off to do mine, but it may be worth trying to get at it through the wheel arch, once the wheel & liner have been taken off? Dont know whether thats possible though.. sorry.
