yup, totally over inflated, hence why i mention my lack of pressure gauge, and only the use of a poor halfords one!
when did they start doing different compounds?
Will speak to TOYO, as part of the Time Attack deal i get super prices on them! :D
they only come in one compound, so hardness is not a choice.
they should last as said a good few days.
just make sure your run them at the correct pressure.
i did a recent track day at brands and forgot my pressure gauge, so had to use a halfords foot pump to check them. they ran over...
top pic is a set of 7 spoke Speedlines in 16's that came with the car.
i soon shifted them tho and it now runs on the Speedlines in the second pic, in 15's. They are 2118's sprayed gloss black.
Ben, just seen in another thread you said Mark Fish will have some graphics on your car, what has he done to the car?
or is he doing some work in the future?
He has mine at the mo, fitting the cage for me. Needless to say you saved yourself over £1k by doing it yourself!
if you want a proper job made, get in contact with these guys...

the do alot of LM stuff, all the shells for Ascari, F1 stuff etc etc
call them and get them to change it.
i was in same situation when i had my 182, but the other way round.
As if the worse came to the worse and you had a total loss, you may only get cup money for it, which we all know is usually a little less than a full fat!
Tuning the 182 is basically down to 2 things in my eyes.
1) your gonna keep the car for years, track it, make it a labour of love.
2) do a few small bits, enjoy it, then move on in a year or two.
if your expecting to spend £1500 and end up with a ferrari slayer then you will be...
we were gonna ask BTB about making 182 manifolds.
But decided in the end they would be pretty expensive, plus people are put off by the labour costs of having one fitted (if they cant do it themselves).
i think your best bet is to pay £250 on ebay for one!
cool!
itunes always seemed cheap in my eyes, until supermarkets etc got on board, and started pumping out CD's at £6.97 etc.
I pressume some bands (TOOL for example) are not on itunes as the record company has no deal with apple??
I am gonna wait till 2nd hand one's or pre registered start appearing.
seeing as u can get a 197 FF for what... 10k now? think how cheap a cup will be in 6 - 12 months time!
otherwise, love em, and cant wait to have one at some point!
good stuff!
i knew it wouldnt have gone far! Thieves in and around Bognor aint the brightest!
Check the MPG read out to see how spiritedly its been driven... if u dare!
Will it go down on the cars history as stolen and recovered now??
Sorry to hear that Mark.
pm me your mobile number, then i will keep an eye out locally.
you never know how dumb some people are, might still be in the area.
mat
defo. i am glad i did it. as i now know that a) i am not prepared to spend that kinda money on motoring and b) they are not all what they are cracked up to be!
tho i do think maybe the sensation of 4wd turbo jap barge is dulled down slightly when coming from such a good handling car like the...
I got a Megane 225 lump, complete, with gearbox on in the back of my old 182.
was a case of getting it as close as possible on the crane, then supporting a board under it, dropping it onto the board and sliding the lot in!
I went 182 Cup to JDM 03 Spec-C Impreza, back to a 172.
The Spec-C was mental quick, but being such a hardcore model was quite tiring to drive for long periods, as you had to be on the ball all the time.
The main reason i got shot ws the mental runnign costs. 17mpg at best was hte major...
