Car looks great! Love that you corner weight it yourself too :)
Good luck this weekend, can't wait to watch the footage and read the post race report. Bed looks pretty comfy!!
That Birkett relay should be great fun. I was planning on coming up to watch so i'll see you there. From what I've...
I think I know the bit you mean mate. The bit that sticks out at a right angle. I've already trimmed it, maybe I need to remove completely too.
Doing Snett in a couple of weeks so will be able to investigate further :-)
Will trim the front bumper bracket this weekend if I get time and see if...
Yes that will all fit fine. Worst case you'd have to make a new hole in the side mount which would be no drama at all.
You will only need to buy the side mounts though, if your seat is a side mounted seat. Some are base mounted.
I've got catches on the bonnet anyway.
But I'd personally rather have neither on the bumper if it's not essential.
I really do like how discreet these caps are though. A good option if I can't get enough clearance around the bracket.
Cool. Yeah it looks simple enough. Now you've done it once it would be so much quicker the next time. So I'm just keen to see the best positioning, which you would have already worked out after fiddling around with it.
Certainly a good route to take, I agree they look better than aero...
Interesting thanks.
So the black top part is just a cap to hold the bumper over the pin yeah.
Any pics of how you mounted the pin underneath?
Not that cheap though.
Your car look awesome mate!!!
Wish mine was as clean as that.
Those quick latches look decent. Got a link for them please?
Do they bend the bumper in though? Or is that just the light in the second pic?
But yeah, I will look to try and bend this metal bracket out the way a bit..
There are also a lot of s**tty dead end threads out there which making searching a bit more difficult though.
I've been through pages and pages trying to find something before and just given up because I was trawling through so much 'Gary'
Maybe I need to be a moderator and help clean the...
Fronts on Paddock Hill for example (which I know is extreme compression anyway) Rears seem to do it when I go curb hopping lol.
Trying to investigate it each time I use the car on track. putting spots of black paint around the arch and checking to see if they are still there after the day...
Yeah man.
I was only looking at 10-15mm max.
But I'm pretty low on ASTs though. Not stupid low. Heights were set up by a proper motorsport company. Just on massive compression like Paddock at Brands I get a lot of rubbing.
Does it actually make much difference? Is it just the lip on the panel which you flatten back?
Everything else I can see up there is all fixed and won't be moving for toffee.
Want to get rear spacers but want to minimize the rubbing as much as possible first.
Anyone got an arch roller in...
