How do I do that Edde?
Not sure if it helps diagnose the problem but it's happened again just. I went out to the car, turned the key forwards to start the engine and it turned over once and everything went dead. HOWEVER rather than turn the key back towards me I held it in place and a second...
I'm sure people would love too but Virgin, as a company, treat their customer like s**t.
Obviously you work for them and I have to respect your (maybe biased/naive/rose tinted) opinions but in the industry your employers are a joke..

If you look at that thread you'll see people referring to it as a bumper off job but Lee comes up with an alternative suggestion.
It's a very common problem and I'd place a large wager that it's happened on almost every 172 out there.
I could be wrong but I seem to recall the proper fix was a bumper off job. As a result most people just left them broken.
If you're keeping your original monitor and peripherals then £700 will get you a very nice gaming PC.
£170 - 8800GT
£170 - Q6600
£70 - 7200.11 500GB HD
£70 - Decent PSU
£100 - P35 motherboard
£50/80 - Case
£25 - Decent CPU cooler
£50 - 2gig PC26400
That's a rough price breakdown...
Not really..
The GTX will probably be the "loudest" thing. By the look of it the case fans are Akasa (which are VERY quiet) and the Zalman won't be that loud.
Other way around maybe. The GT's use the new 65nm technology so use less power and run cooler than the older GTX's.
I can't see why anyone would consider the GTX over the GT given there's hardly any performance difference at all and the GTX cost's another £100+.
Twice in recent weeks I've suffered from a weird electrical problem.
I'd driven to the local shops, about 1 minute away, spent 5 minutes in the shop and got back in the car. As I turned the key the engine turned over once and promptly died. It was as if the battery was completely flat.
I...
It "shouldn't" make a lot of difference. I guess the obvious suggestion would be to place the router near a window in the outbuilding if possible.
Either that or he buys 50m of Cat5 or signs up for a second ISP for the main house.
Not dismissing the suggestion in any way, shape or form but what do people do without a phone for 4 weeks?
I'm just grateful I'm on a network that seems to care about customers..
The scenario..
My mate decides to start a pay monthly contract with Orange about 8 months ago and picks a Sony Ericsson phone.
All is good up until a couple of weeks ago when the phone dies. He contacts Orange who state "We're only responsible for the first 6 months of the warranty. Go away...
