Nice. Not only is the paint sanded back in that area/not there at all but that would leave me with doubts about how much paint is even on there, must be the lightest finish ever.
Ah, I did assume you were going for Greater Manchester. That makes more sense as Manchester/Cheshire is a nightmare. Technically Stockport is Cheshire, as is our office in Dukinfield which is kind of on the border. It's properly confusing.
For those with about as much geographical knowledge as a fish (i.e me) what are the boundaries of Manchester and Cheshire? My brain doesn't really compute that.
Also to clear up your confusion.
182 - 54mm bolt spacing on suspension, climate control, half leather interior, xenon's
182 cup - cloth interior, aircon, 60mm bolt spacing suspension
182 with style pack - Splitter, cup spoiler and anthracite wheels
182 with performance pack - 60mm cup...
Good work! Does removing the vibration mounts really make that much difference? Going to do it to mine before I go to the ring, will give me an excuse to clean the interior properly. Being a smoker of rollups you end up with tobacco everywhere!
Will keep an eye on this thread.
Lovely car and colour. Was trying to convince my sister to get her fiesta metal in that colour but her inner chav has got white :(
Will keep an eye on this.
Yeah if you're shocks are tired anyway you may as well replace them at the same time as you've got to get the shocks off the car.
Cup shocks have firmer damping and cost the same as standard too.
Problem I've got is the cat to manifold bolts are so rusted they aren't even bolts anymore and I really can't be bothered faffing with them. I'm trying to think of a way I can do it without touching them so I can get it done this weekend rather than having to pick up a new fitting kit.
Looking at fitting the Ph1 gearstick into my Ph2 172.
From what I've been told the cat needs to come out. Is there a way to do it without removing the cat? I was thinking that disconnecting the cat the centre section join, undoing the dogbone mount and moving the engine forward on the mounts...
