Cheers. It was amazing. Even if you're not comfortable driving round there I'd suggest to any petrol head that they should go. The roads locally are superb (Piston Heads have done a post on them today actually as they were also there this weekend). And just the atmosphere is unreal. We got...
No LOL! I'm doing them again because I didn't do the dephaser and its noisy.
And the deoderant was that we put one on the fire. It exploded massively and shot off towards the cars. It actually hit Jon's tent and put a hole through it. The lid shot off in the opposite direction and stuck to...
Camping was good as we were trying to make it a cheap weekend for some of us. But really I'd have preferred to hotel the whole trip. Would have been much more comfortable. Although I don't think they appreciate fires in hotels.
Would be pretty awesome if the southerners met us there!
Get it organised.
More maintenance updates are due soon. Redoing the belts with dephaser, alternator, water pump, pas pump and probably injectors as it's hesitating/sturrering.
I also need to do the inner and outer arb bushes.
Agreed. I think next year we plan to arrive on a Friday/Saturday night and stay until mid week.
Gives a few days of good spectating and a few to have a few laps.
So as some of you know I went to the 'ring last week/weekend. For anyone who hasn't been it's an awesome place.
The morning before I left for Dover I went to get my tracking done as it's been not quite right even though I've had it done fairly recently. Thought I'd do it properly this time...
I had a little play in my dephaser so it wouldn't go perfect. If I pit the shoe I the inlet cam and just rest my little finger on the rear of the tool it drops down just enough to fit in.
Give it a good hosing off first. Make sure you're using the two bucket method and frequently washing the mitt off.
Personally I'd nip to a local petrol station etc where they have a pressure washer and give it a quick blast over there first.
You're welcome! I have no idea how that wheel has lost that much on the lip and still looks straight as hell.
Although we do need a PROPER update. I think you should lock the thread until then.
Oh you bugger. Mine has had fresh belts (needs dephaser) new wishbones, cup shocks, cooksport springs, tre's tie rods, engine mounts, all service items, tyres, brakes (ds2500 upfront) super blue fluid, ph1 gearstick, fabia splitter.
But it NEEDS paint. Expensive :(
Mine is horrendous. Sanding marks everywhere (can't wet sand out as the paint is too thin) thin paint, stone chips, scratches, dents, poorly repaired panels.
Nightmare.
Also. Other Monaco?!?!?
They'll have paid more than a second hand set of clio ones I imagine then!
I'm at the stage now where I need to decide if I keep ploughing money into mine or start the R26 fund. If I keep mine I'm going to have to get it sprayed as it's doing my tits in.
Looking really smart. Great colour (not that I'm biased).
I kind of prefer the ones without the harness holes. Is there a specific name for them, or a car they came from? Might be interested in a set in future.
Looking really good. Images load fine for me too.
But bottom of the weddings page is missing a lot of words.
If you like what you and would like to book, all is required is a 25% booking fee to hold the date. The full balance is due within 30 days of your wedding date. Please get in touch via...
It's such a shame as the rear end is stunning. Looks evil as f**k on the road. The front is just horrendous though as is the profile.
Only seen one in black like above though.
