Was experimenting trying to get it decent before but I can't seem to do any consistently.

Do people find using a torch or using flash better? Head on or at an angle?

It depends on the car really.
If I bought a Cup the first thing that'd be on my list after making sure everything is good with filter changes would be seats. A FF 172 I'd look at changing the wheels, on a 182 I'd probably get some coilovers before wheels...

He asked why I wanted the job first off and I pretty much froze, then got out that it's my interests etc, utterly forgot to mention the intensive work and the fun factor for me.

Just think what you want it for, having a cool car as a young lad or for family stuff etc.
Underneith the dash there's two clips on the top/front end of the passenger airbag.
You pretty much have to put the front of the dash downwards, then lay it down with the part near the dash strips being the last bit to go on.
I've had mine out atleast 20 times in the past few months.
