Go for the dCi 100, loads better car! Remap it to 125-130bhp 190lb/ft, keep the 172's guessing what you have under the bonnet :cool:

The torque is where it is at, I personally would buy a dCi 80 intercooler before you get a remap. 100 intercooler are rare as hens teeth. Getting the pipework is the hard bit, but they pop up on eBay every now and again for about £70. Expect in the region of 23bhp - 51lb/ft gains without a...

Using existing standard seat belts. I have used a far too high ohm resistor that's why it's not worked. But if I get the right resistor will the light automatically go off?

Fitted some Recaro Trendlines today, got some resistor's from Maplins in different Ohms. First one I tried didn't take the airbag light away. The next resistor am going to try is 3.9omh 0.25watt. If this works will the airbag light automatically disappear? I tried this method. Cheers

dCi 80bhp only produce 110g/km, where as the 65bhp produces 115g/km & the 100bhp models produce 113g/km. So therefore the 80's just get in the bracket of cheaper tax. Shame on you, trying to downgrade your dCi 80 :banghead: haha

Personally not keen on rep's but each to their own. How much tax do you pay? Just 80's are £20 a year and 65 are £30, just to help you figure out if it's a 80. :D

Nice project! What intercooler is on the car? just the 65's never came with a intercooler fitted. Electric Sunroof's where an optional extra. Where not available on Renault Sport models or Expression's IIRC. Be good to see this project grow! :D

Roughly 120-130bhp / 180-190lbft for the dCi 100. Not bad at all really.

Undecided if I should change my standard alloys. Really interested in OZ F1's as I don't want to go to 16" and then get them sprayed black. Anyone got a picture of Black OZ F1's on a Black Clio by any chance?

Quick test to see if it's the turbo. Check the EGR valve, if it's like: Here is a turbo repair guide if it's that.

I would change Auxiliary belt while your on, Auxiliary Belt + Cam Belt & Tensioners are rougly £157 for West Renaults. Expect to pay £150-£200 to get them fitted. Can be done by yourself... but it's a big job if your doing it for the first time. P.S. you need the special locking tools to be...
