Looks nice mate, I've got all the components for my new system turning up tomorrow... my first build and I'm starting to wish I'd paid a little extra to by it already made!
An odd mix of rant and need in this thread. I can't help feel you'd have been better to commit to one objective and go for it fully.
Puncutation is strong and the numbering of the bullet points is always a plus in a well-constructed rant thread. However, I feel some critical details, possibly...
How much do vRS' sell for nowadays? I thought the 1.8T petrol engine'd examples were pretty cheap now - don't think it would leave you a great deal of cash left over?
Stunning example, lovely mate. I like the idea of the exhaust but is a bit too OTT compared to the rest of the styling.
A mad re-trimmed interior would go down a treat!

I think you just untick them and then sync the phone, should remove anything not ticked...?

I don't really do enough longer driving to warrant TomTom, but it would useful this weekend, for example. I'm surprised they haven't found a way past it, even with Apple's own version (as said, maps doesn't seem quick enough...
I'd always be a bit wary of having such a small HD - programs will continue to get larger and require more and more hard disc space. It's stupidly fast though.

Am I right in thinking that nobody (TomTom included) have not yet released a SatNav application for the iPhone? For the love of God, why not?
It all sounds a bit gimmicky to me, but time will tell.
How much 'easier' can email get than having it already pushed onto your phone's front screen!?!
HD video recorder? Pardon the ol' ignorance, but aren't HD video cameras very expensive? I'd be amazed and very impressed if they manage to squeeze genuine HD video into a 8mp camera lens on the back of a phone...
I find the normal blowers fine when you're travelling at speed, and I'll have my window down at anything less than 40 anyway.
I miss air con for demisting the windows and that's about it. Have only ever had 2 cars with air con anyway.
I had a long look at the Storm before deciding I didn't like the clickable screen - felt cheap to me.
What about the HDC HD DHD HDHD SHDHD Diamond, or whatever it's called?
There's something about the normal Ph2 172 that just doesn't look 'right'. Change the wheels and stance slightly and they can look great.
For longer driving, I can see the appeal of the 172 for the toys. I'd have the Cup everytime, though.
Re: someph-ing different...........
Look nice mate, the thick tyre sidewalls make them work better than I think they would with a low profile.
White and silver always struggle, but they'll do the job for a few weeks. Flourescent yellow for track, though.
I've never had to replace a broken mouse or keyboard.
And, even if that was the case, I'd rather buy a new £10 keyboard every 12 months than try and kid myself that I'll actually keep a £50 keyboard for 5 years without getting bored and fancy something else after a couple years...
As I say...
I look forward to finding out! :D Still alright for Saturday?
I'm quite a fan of Toyos, but crap tyres on the back won't help things. My Nankangs on the rear of mine made things, interesting, with the snow and ice!
There's loads of threads on here mate; have a search around.
But, yeah, for handling improvement and no change in appearance the Pro's are the ones to go for.
If you're into games then it's fair enough spending out on a decent mouse and keyboard - it can make all the difference.
But if it's for general PC use, then there is a point where the extra expense just doesn't justify the added quality /functionality.
I'm putting together a system at the...
