Re: iPhone Q&A DONT START ONE QUESTION IPHONE THREADS. **POST HERE**
Guys, I'm trying to download some apps on my PC's iTunes, but when I try and sync to the phone I get a message saying I'm not authorised on this computer, so it doesn't add them to the phone...
Any idea?
I'll try the download file and see what happens mate, cheers.
Nope, with torrents it varies conderably, but I'm lucky to 100kB/s, normally running at half that.
The router is plugged into the main phone line, although the wiring is pretty old. There are extensions for phone and Sky.
Not really mate, they make some good products but, much lile Autoglym, there's bettter out there.
Some of the Megs and AG range is of a very good quality.
I'm with Sky and whilst it's all very reliable, I average about 500kb/s D/L. Looking at my exchange, I should be able to get up to 4.5mb/s.
I am on a wireless router, however, so imagine this will reduce the speed a bit, but surely not to that extent? I've been waiting for days to download...
Unfortunately it needs to be coded from Renault specifically, so no way round it I'm afraid. You can go to an independant garage who use Renault, to avoid the questionable Renault service, but it'll be the same price.
You could take the key part to a locksmith's separately AFAIK to make it a...
Autoglym's good stuff and serves its purpose well, but there's better stuff out there. You end up paying more for AG as you generally buy it from High Street retailers who charge a premium.
Can always rely on the Treen :) don't suppose you have the links to the relevant traders already to hand, categorised into their parent group and sorted by a variety of variables such as effectiveness, price and scent, do you?
It's unfortunate, but looking at the relatively minimal damage I'd hazard a guess that he didn't even realise...
But then, even if he did, he's have probably driven off anyway.
Alright detailing chaps, I've not frequented this place much mainly due to the fact that the Cup's not grabbed my cleaning attention much recently.
Anyway, as the weather warms up I'm in need of replenishing my stocks...
I need:
Shampoo
Wash Mitt
LSP Wax (to layer well over Jeffs AJT)
A...
My UCH recently gave up and my main problems (all intermittent to differing degrees...) were:
Clicking from dash
Anti-hijack light flashing and arming / disarming itself
Windows juddering up and down / stopping working
Front wipers stop working
Rear wiper juddering
Indicators intermittent...
I never had any service problems with Plusnet, but the way they resolve problems through their website, in a forum-based system, is a bit hit and miss.
I know you're not doing any downloading, so it wno't affect you, but Plusnet absoltuely throttle downloading speeds for p2p clients and...
Absolutely mate, could be just sour grapes, that's why I said I was fairly sure.. But with me already paid for my Prospeed and him being an ex-employee with quite an important job, he doesn't really have any reason to bullshit. His rep is better than 90% of Powerflow dealers', after all.
Well, if an ex-employee counts as the grapevine... I was chatting to Charlie from Prospeed and that's what he said. I said fairly sure as I don't know if they still do.
Ok?
I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect due to the increase noise and sporty feel, but mine definitely feels quicker and smoother through the revs compared to standard.
I like the smell of unburnt fuel :)
Cheers mate, had a little play last night and got up to 3.6GHz (I think) but altering the FSB and increasing the CPU voltage slightly.
Although, with CPUZ, am I right in that it only shows what the processor is currently running at, not it's maximum? How can I fully load the processor to get a...
I also bought the Akasa 965 cooler - christ that needed some force to get all 4 pins locked in! I've had a little play with the FSB and pushed it up for 400MHz, but I'm not sure how I can now see what the CPU is running at...
Might be worth a try, but my PC is upstairs and phone line downstairs. A few doors, stairs, etc separate them! Might be worth doing, but it would be a pretty permanent measure...
Signal is showing as being fine, alternates between 4 and 5 bars (out of 5). The reasons for not being able to...
On my new PC it seems that the connection to the wireless router (free with Sky Broadband...) is very hit and miss.
It always shows the wireless network as being available, but sometimes just can't connect. I'll then return 5 minutes later and it's managed to connect of its own accord...
Any...
I was torn between the Q6600 and the E8400 and decided that the Dual Core was better suited for what I need - plus it seems to be a fantastic overclocker, whereas the Q6600 seems to be a bit hit and miss.
It cost a little bit, but won't need changing for a few years now and any future upgrades...
Built my own for the first time:
Intel C2D E8400 3.0GHz CPU
Asus HD4850 512MB GPU
Asus P5QL Pro Mothboard
4GB Corsair 800MHz memory
640GB Samsung Spinpoint F1 HDD
20" widescreen Samsung monitor
Uh, and other stuff I can't remember!
You've included iPhone in your list... it's your subconscious telling you to get one!
I had every intention of not getting an iPhone; played with the others (didn't bother with the C905, I'm sick of SE's) and decided that, regretfully, Apple's devil-machine was the best all-rounder.
