Hmmmm I suppose thats down to the volume of the box, and it not being ported. You can "fool the sub" by adding wadding behind it, so it sounds like its in a bigger box. Did you have it encased in fibreglass, or just an MDF panel with the sub in, lay over the wheel well?

Photoshop or not, that looks very tidy. But unless they turbo it, which they wont, they wont get 240bhp from it.

That looks fairly new actually. Have you checked the 3 prongs that go from the bottom of that mount to the gearbox housing?

gearbox mount. should then look like this: Bottom left corner is the g/box mount. Check for wear/loosness. Also, check the spider leg type thing that connects this to the gearbox. These can sheer and break

Re: Will putting new lowering springs damage original shock absorbers in the long run They arent too bad when running with uprated shocks. Give a firm ride, which is good when going for the beans. I have my Konis set a quarter turn from the softest, with 40mm apex, and it's a decent ride.

You bought a french car with the intention of giving it german looks? Personally, I love nothing more than a standard looking, clean valver. Standard valver rims, even willy wheels, are cheap enough these days.
