OK, looking to move up from my phone/point and squeeze to something a little more useable.
I dont want to go DSLR at this point.
I have been looking at either the Fuji 2950 or S4080 or the Finepics HS10
Maybe a Nikon?
There's a few "refurbs" on ebay, that have a 12m warranty for like...
Charlie, looks good fella. You do it yourself?
Ahhh, so it wasnt dealed/boxed proper. no wonder it sounded pap, lol
Mate, if you want to follow me round the forum, feel free. I can send you some pics of me in a thong or something if you want?
Hell, ask me nicely and buy me a Carlsberg...
Hmmmm
I suppose thats down to the volume of the box, and it not being ported. You can "fool the sub" by adding wadding behind it, so it sounds like its in a bigger box. Did you have it encased in fibreglass, or just an MDF panel with the sub in, lay over the wheel well?
Anyone done this? Got any pics etc?
I want to chuck my sub in, but CBA with a big box in there. Thinking fibreglass matting to use the shape of the wheelwell, then mounting this to an MDF floor
gearbox mount.
should then look like this:
Bottom left corner is the g/box mount. Check for wear/loosness. Also, check the spider leg type thing that connects this to the gearbox. These can sheer and break
Re: Will putting new lowering springs damage original shock absorbers in the long run
They arent too bad when running with uprated shocks. Give a firm ride, which is good when going for the beans.
I have my Konis set a quarter turn from the softest, with 40mm apex, and it's a decent ride.
You bought a french car with the intention of giving it german looks?
Personally, I love nothing more than a standard looking, clean valver. Standard valver rims, even willy wheels, are cheap enough these days.
