    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Re: Ph1 172 My filter is ok at the moment, I'll keep a close eye on it and change it when required. I decided whilst the weather was decent to change my Ph1 seats over to the 172 Cup seats I got from Carbonraider I gave them a clean and swapped the runners and pretensioners over from the Ph1...

Full race slicks for track days

I run the Federal RSRs all the time, they're cheap and cheerful and decent enough when its wet and quite acceptable in the dry However I was considering getting some medium compound slicks for nice dry days on a spare set of rims. They're cheaper than R888 mediums, and the DZ03G only come in...

oz superleggera et 37 what spacers?

The offset would be the same though so they'd stick out just as far, the 6J would be further away from the inner arch.

I had this issue. Put the key in, turn ignition on. Leave the key in for a minute or two. Ignition off. Then try and start it.

    Too wide? Rota content.

Tells you what the existing camber is so you know what shims to fit.

    Too wide? Rota content.

Get the stub axles changed and then get the geo measured on the back. Get shims to adjust it to -2 degrees. If there is a lot of material on the hub face of the wheel you could turn them down on a lather to get rid of some of the offset too.

    Research before a head work

I know Shrick do some camshafts with a good specification.Engine Dynamics cams are good for the money, not far off the Shrick specs I think. Catcams 422 with VVT are the largest I would fit to keep a good idle and retain some of the power band lower down whilst keeping the limit around the 7500...

I've tripoded in cars with and without a rear ARB and cars with IRS. It happens. In the Clio I do find it happens less with the ARB fitted

    Research before a head work

On a F4R for around 230-240bhp you don't need to worry about all the above so much and keep the standard valve train with uprated valve springs. It's easily achievable with off the shelf parts You can do around 210bhp on a standard engine with cams and itbs. So you say 200+ but what do you...

    Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Biposto

If I'm restricted to something new with two seats for that money I'd rather a 4C. But in reality I'd rather a used Z4M or an Exige.
