    519 Automotive lowering springs anyone?

Have you driven it for an extended time with any weight in the back?

    519 Automotive lowering springs anyone?

Not a bad height. It'll allow for passengers and stuff in the boot too. If you want to go lower you'd be better off selling them and getting a different set of springs.

Any photos of how it sits?

    ABS removal on Ph1

I've got all the bits to remove the ABS on my Ph1 but my friendly MOT man said he won't be able to pass it without the ABS light coming on for a few seconds then turning off because the car came with ABS as standard. Will I have to make something up to turn the light on with the ignition and...

Expensive FRP!!! - Surely a typo error!

LOL! As for the FRP being under powered. I agree. Needs the 2.0 Duratec swap (Or 2.3 for a bit more poke). Boost would ruin it.

    Polo rad for bodies?

I've got 130mm trumpets on my K-tec kit ;) + the K-tec bodies are 40mm longer than the normal Jenvey offering so my inlet lenth is 50mm longer than a Jenvey setup with 120mm trumpets.

    Helper Spring Question - Coliovers

You might find asking a company like coil springs in Sheffield to make some for you is cheaper than buying off the shelf Euro items.

    Polo rad for bodies?

Mine did and I drove it to get mapped

    Helper Spring Question - Coliovers

Faulkner might do them. Otherwise Eibach, H&R, FK themselves

    Clio 172 Cup

I've got a ktec recessed twin box system with decat, sounds good. Not that loud. Similar price to a standard system I think

    Polo rad for bodies?

Yeah, worth a try. The ECU and software is pretty good tbh. The only downside is you lose the shift light and trip computer. The sound is great though :D

    Polo rad for bodies?

I bought the kit with the software separately and used the CS 5% discount. If you had 10% off it would work out cheaper to buy it all separately.

    Polo rad for bodies?

With discount about £150 I think it came to £2600 all in including getting it mapped and a new injector.

    Polo rad for bodies?

I bought the software so I could take it anywhere for mapping. I can't see how you'd set the tps without it.

    Helper Spring Question - Coliovers

I'd keep the helper springs and get some uprated 7" springs. Also are you certain they're not 60mm springs as I'm sure FK run 60mm like the rest of the Germans.

    Clio 172 Cup

Tell him Tom says hi! Have a chat with him about what to do. But the first things for going on track really are (if they haven't been done already) Brembo HC discs with decent pads (DS2500/3000, RC5+, Yellowstuff), braided lines and good brake fluid, Vibratechnics engine mounts and Powerflex...

A friend of mine runs Powerflow North West in Deeside. He'll make you whatever you want i.e stealth or not, loud/quiet etc. and it won't cost the earth either.

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

Re: Road/Track 172 Oh right! Nice to know the standard engine is on for 300. I know you're looking at about 250-260bhp on the standard turbo.
