Whats all this about breaking it in???? If the engines gonna blow by heavy acceleration then the cars not built right! Doesnt matter if ya cane it at 100 miles or 1000 - come on now (Renault Sport) emphasis on highly tuned engine!? Just do it.....lol

Anyone know if and where I can get a launch control system fitted - I remember someone on this forum had one fitted with coilovers - (MArk maybe??) Any thoughts on how to combat serious lack of grip and traction (even in the dry) for a smoother ride?

Just looked at a pic of the Mk 1 in Autotrader last night - looks as dated as the Williams/16V - dont mean that in a derogatory way just as a comparison - the stealth look is back - sharp, lines and edges/bubble look out - it comes and goes in cycles these trends - in a few years well be back to...

Dave remove that security sticker on the door and for that matter the renault elf sticker on the back and the two airbag stickers on the front screen - looks so much tidier mate!!!!!
My Fiancee is a spped freak - shes used to Motorbikes and sub 10 secs to 100 and 150mph etc so its hard to keep her happy, but the new Cup is actually scaring her abit - not the speed just the handling and grip and brakes - need to get used to driving it - oh and giving it some in the City -...
Can u lower it on the standard 16s and stick a bee sting at the back - I mean slam it like the cup racers!! and change the rear red bits in the lights to blue???

Your all hilarious - lol - its not even there - it sphotoshoped - needed a colour swatch this mornin so I just tore a section of the door handle - gonna get them de-colourcoded anyways - lol!!!
I agree with slarty - had 17s and 16s and 15s on my old 1600 16v - tested them all - no noticable diifernce - only differnce in 15s and 17s was the roll and grip factor. Power to weight means just that - how do u expect a car with supposedly lighter rims to go quicker than a car thats stripped...
