I would give the garage a ring, or nip in and have a chat with them. Ask them what they have changed, and what they think it can be, and ask for a forcast for when the car will be fixed. I would then take the list of things thats been changed, and ring renault uk. I would explain your problem...

i took mine to renault in sunderland, and they charged me more than renault in chester. I said..look renault chester are doing it for this price, can you match it..and they did. Ring about, and get them to price match. Different dealers, different prices..

monkey see, monkey do.. Take the speaker covers off, and look at what the colour of the 2 wires are that goto them. If 4 speakers, than drops you 8 wires.. This is what i think they are matey.. but to confirm you going to have to remove the speakers and have a look. Dont take me as gospel...

Erm...basically how it works..or you can make it work.. You have a wire that goes to your radio (a earth) that if removed from the chassis tells the alarm that its been removed, stolen. You could use this wire IAW a mercury tilt switch, so if someone moves your car..jumps on it, etc, it goes...
