Pioneer is fashion over function all day long, Alpine F1 status is likely to be the best car audio gear you'll come across before looking at money no object applications.
I agree Alpines budget hu's are very good for the money
Alipine headunit is the only way forwards!! (arguably doesnt matter which one) i will never buy another brand of headunit after experiencing the perfection of my glide touch.
it may do the job at a low level but if you crank it and it blows thats no concern of theirs, not being funny but juice isnt exactly alpine etc standard. my system kept blowing 30a fuses so i put a bigger fuse in and it began to melt the power cable. Any serious system needs a fairly serious...
1200w rms f**k that there would be no windows left :P probably 300w rms, also you need an earthed cable to be to bare metal i dont see it corroding anytime soon as its inside the car.
I happily accept the ph1 is probably a faster/better car than the ph2 but i do prefer the look of the ph2 (more 182 than 172) only downside worth noting on a ph1 is the gearbox circlip issue and given that 1*2 box's are ropey full stop it would be of some concern to me.
Buy this, hate the fuel economy/running costs, sell it, go back to the clio with a rejuvenated love for it :)

^^^ Kwik fit will do you a laser alignment and tell you what the readings are, i suspect they may setup some camber bolts but its easily an hour of someones time plus an alignment which i cant see being less than £90 (hours labour plus alignment)
Im happy with the way i set mine up but where...
Haha i love CS nice to see the thread is staying on track, i think ive set Will. off on one i'll give you her details when ive had my fill mate im sure she'll be more than happy to accommodate you for the night :)
So many question :) i fear only life experience will answer many of them. From my experience my car pulled to the left before i fitted them and i was perfect after i had them fitted, i would pay to have them setup purely for the cost involved not being worth it.
Maybe someone else that has had...
take off you front wheel, loosen off both bolts holding the front suspension to the hub, remove the top bolt completely the replace with camber bolt, turn the bolt to get an idea of how much camber is being introduced, set to what you want (probably about half of what is possible) i then...

But if i didnt have one it would be rstuner first all day long!!!
for £25 or so they are bolts that allow the front wheels to lean in at the top, they instantly improve cornering and are a great mod the only negative effect is that if you introduce too much camber your front tyres wont last long!! i got through a new pair of paradas in 3000 miles but i had a...
I cut and filed the hell out of the front bumper hanger thingy in an attempt the stop rubbing when i had 16's on, also i cut out the small section of arch liner that kept rubbing. I dont know if 205's are worse than 195's with the problem your talking about.
Can i disconnect my car battery for the evening without running into problems tomorrow morning?
Not sure that its the best plan of attack full stop, im going to be leaving the car in the most intensely dodgy place while i nail some bird for the evening and wondered if the car would be safer...
