They do this car show every year and is open to most marques of Renault, copy and pasted from the french link below
This years event is the sixth consecutive the SANGLIERS ARDENNAIS has been held for the Belgian and French Renault Owners who live in the Ardennes near Sedan and is open to all...
Spot on, gearbox is great....Spax coilovers arrive in the next week... It's so nice to drive, and out of the 4 Clios I've owned this 1 has AC! Such a novelty!
Was just right, the driving wasn't overbearing, the views en route to all locations were stunning. Bar the EML light coming on 45 miles out of Calais the RB performed superbly averaging 38.9mpg over the 4 days
I imagine some of us belong to more than 1 car club :o before Clios i was into R5 GT Turbos for a few years and still belong to RTOC :o
The french have a club also dedicated to all things turbo like the 5,9,11, Gordini so we decided to head over to see what it's all about. So a 4hr drive from...
It's more the sustained level of noise for long periods of time driving the car, the link below shows what happens between 90-95dB
I knew the exhaust was loud but wasn't expecting it to be hitting mid 90s
Environmental Noise
Weakest sound heard
0dB
Whisper Quiet Library at 6'
30dB...
Ok, so this bank holiday was the first time I've given the Clio a proper drive. We did 876 miles in 4 days and to be honest the only thing that was on the negative side was the noisy exhaust. I believe I have a Milltek exhaust and decat, so on the way home the missus downloaded a decibel reading...
That'll be me the new owner, heading to Folkestone to catch the Eurotunnel. Just got back from a 4 day, 876 mile euro trip in France and Belgium. Spent the Saturday at a French car club national show with a 100 mile blast through the Ardennes region, Sunday and today in Spa and a visit to...
Taken a dodgy rear GAZ damper off and swapped it with an ok unit, the insert was loose so the damper was knocking on the lower bolt

I did a set of OZ F1 wheels in a Ford shade of grey, they looked good under strip lighting but in natural daylight had a heavy tinge of purple. Is the colour literally Ford graphite grey, there were a few Ford greys when I tried to choose a colour
The offer at £560 is on until next Friday, I spoke to them today and if they have a set in stock on the Monday they will be sending me a set via courier. The chap on the phone couldn't confirm as he doesn't have dealings with the offe.
Are these the same Spax coilovers sold by 519?
£560, i'd also be seriously tempted to purchase a set too. I have the 60mm hubs (the bain of my life!) and been trying to work out the cheapest way to get a decent setup
Dave, feel free to PM but whats the damage for H&R coilovers?
New Renault rear discs arrived today

My GAZ coilover suspension is past it's sell by date, the plan is to change over the dampers front and rear over time. Would the Trophy Sachs rear dampers be worth fitting? A set has come up, my GAZ rears are knocking and need to replace so was thinking the Trophy items might be worth a go, it...
All this is theory and thought i'd bring it up for discussion to see if anyone has attempted trying something out (dam cup pack hubs :D)
So, brackets made up with 60mm spacing, welded on a set of coilovers could be a possibility if the talent and welding skills were at my disposal?
I was looking into carbon bullets, there is a difference between Streamline and Chris's items. I PM'd Chris about the possibility of having the bullets made in carbon with the 2.0 and 16V raised like the OE ones, to which he replied that Streamline actually make them already. Admittedly pricey...
I've not looked at coilovers close up for a while now to see how they set up their negative camber. From what i remember the bolt in the top is a certain shape to allow the top of the hub to be pulled in or out for positive/negative camber, i don't know if they just rely on a different shape top...
I know that cup pack suspension is 60mm with 172/182 RS being 54mm.
My question is, could the hub hole on say a 54mm coilover strut be modified to fit the 60mm hub? Top holes have been elongated on some to give you adjustable camber.
Does say both bottom holes line up and the top be 6mm...
