Coilovers on a 172, is it really worth it?

Believe me - the handling on a std 172 is pish compared to one on adjustable coilovers. I wouldnt even be contemplating this.... buy them! Oh, but I drive my cars hard so need upgraded suspension.....I also have my Clio as a weekend/track car...... do you want a comfy runnaround??? if so...

    Yozzasport Catback

Its upto you matey - personally I prefer the below the bumper group N look of the one I have got, but the recessed one is far more practical for everyday use due to clearance issues. My Clio is a track day car that only gets used on weekends [if that! lol] so I can live with a slammed ride...

Agree'd! Although the 182's system is more complex compared to the 172's - and the construction is very impressive! ;)

The system below the bumper - like on Yoz's TB'd Cup. However their new recessed system [that is on their website] looks fantastic in the flesh [Yoz showed me the new stock] plus the 182 system's welds are stunning.

FK's will go so low at the front that you sump will be touching the floor. I have just had to raise mine slightly because the driveshafts were stressed by my increased camber. As for the garage charging you an extar 2/3hours - tell them to stop and do it yourself. Just pull the liners out...

    Blueflame- Opinions

This is not an accurate way of measuring the bhp of a modification. All cars have different bhp.... you can buy a good one - and a bad one. That car that measured less could have either had someting wrong with it or was a 'bad un'. The only way you can gauge how much bhp/torque a mod...

    romoving rear plastics,

Like I said on your other thread I popped the little barstewards head off [bolt] it soon came off! lol Oh and you will need a breaker bar not a ratchet for extra force. You need a torx set to do the interior. Take the roof lining out!
