Rory has a blue 182. I think he went straight to the CS/AS meet instead.

Doesnt look it but... bent chassis, bent roof panel, crack in F/N/S wing, splitter ripped off, wheel damaged, tyre shredded, bent driveshaft, bent wishbone, snapped steering column, bent steering rack, few other bits and peices. £4k worth of damage and the body work looks almost immaculate.

timing belt will need done at 72K i think too.

No its the interior in the Sport and S models, the Ph1 172 has more brushed aluminum in it I think, like the gear knob and door cards etc.

My standard 1.2 gets less than or equal to that whilst driving sensibly :(

my Y reg has done about 25k in just over a year. had 45 on it when i got it and just hit 70k

Reminds me of when I wrote off my Clio (in my pre CS days) after a month of ownership. Suprising how you forget what speed you're doing, I didnt think I was going that fast but must have been a good 50-60mph when I hit the kerb. Live and learn, and glad your ok. But I didn't roll it!! ;)...

even £1300 is cheap!!! my insurance for a standard 172 cup is £2200 with elephant, and i'm 21 in january. EDIT: infact if i recall correctly your paying the same as i am for my 1.2!

I couldnt afford to buy anything as new as that, unless I can find one for about 2k and thats pushing what I can afford.
