Easy
Remove the rear lights (wing nuts inside the boot)
Two bolts under the rubber trim near the lock torx style
10mm bolt under each side of the rear wing (behind the liner iirc)
Some have bolts under the bumper near the impact beam, some dont.
mines on the original box, car has been killed from day one, been to the ring 3 times, 12 trackdays etc and it's been running 225hp for the last few years!
Are u not using the clutch to change gear? LOL
im not binning the whole loom. just the enigne sensor part.
I have to keep the UCH (i dont even think mine has one) rest of the loom is seperate to the engine loom.
Im reet for MOT emmisons (the car would prob melt the probe at the moment anyway!)
What othere issues can you see when removing the renault ECU? Im replacing with omex (well its allready in there running along aside)
Ive sorted all the clocks, tacho and gauages etc
The omex has a output for Rev counter and my new loom has a feed for it.
Think i could get the renault one to work with the OEM tacho?
then all i would need is some stack oil temp, pressure and water temp guage!
Stack dash's are cool but expensive!

As im getting rid of the OEM ecu I need a tacho and water temp for the car!
This one has the added bonus of oil temp and oil pressure! (which i was going to buy anyway)
Thoughs?
Will the sensors be electric or mech? Ive can power the revs off the OMEX
