I know about this, but that means having to turn on the passcode lock. For some reason apple have made sms privacy and passcode lock mutually inclusive. That's just wrong. It's actually starting to piss me off quite a lot now.

What andi said...but as you've got Sky+ they will have fitted a quad LNB anyway, so will be cheaper/easier (although it's easy to change LNB anyway!). I'd do it myself (have done recently anyway, Sky HD & Sky + box) and avoid the sky installation fee.

Now take into consideration resale value. I could easily sell my 4 year old laptop G4 powerbook for £300, I'd be lucky to get a bag of peanuts and a copy of razzle for a "PC" laptop of a similar age....and don't even think of running vista on a "PC" of that age....my powerbook of course runs...
