Sorry, I'm being f**king dim.
What I saw this morning was the ML110 that is mentioned in this thread somewhere.
It's available all over the place for the price I mentioned.
I've not really had any issues barring:
1) The random "All your apps stop working, time to delete and re-add" bug.
2) "Mobilemeh" push email randomly stopping pushing.
It's certainly in a totally different league to any other phone I've owned before.
That's almost certainly just an effect of the phone resetting as a result of the upgrade, I expect you'll notice it gradually slowing down as it gets used more.
Humn. I suspect something like "carbon copy cloner" or "super duper" will be able to do that, but I've got no experience with that so don't really know.
Assuming you've got the new drive connected up to USB or firewire and mounted...

You don't need to do anything magical in OS X, just copy the files making sure all hidden files and attributes are preserved.
Job done.
I think the issue here is that:
1) People can't be arsed to do your homework for you.
2) The people who could do it, won't do it, because you'll not be learning anything!
Post up attempts by all means and I'm sure people will point you in the right direction, it's not difficult what you're...
Here's an example:

You enter the code sky using select+0 instead of select+red for normal TV.
Just search for your av system with "sky remote" in google (i.e "davs550 sky remote code" and hopefully you'll find it!
I can turn...
You can control all of that (ok not all functions, but the important ones) from a Sky+ or Sky HD remote!
I control my TV, Sky+ and dvd/surround from the sky remote!
Ok push fixed. Had to delete mobileme and add it again, but it started working the moment I did that.
Obviously something in the upgrade buggered it and doing this enables it again.
