As many as they can sell I'd think. It's not limited in any way. Otherwise I'd have had number 007 of course. lol I doubt there will be many white ones outside of us on here and Renaultsport and the press cars. Who in their right mind would buy white.

I think what people fail to realise is that even though it's a cheap 197 it's still worth more than any of our previous model Clios excluding the V6. It comes in at £16.5k RRP for white, Recaros and aircon! Cars just aren't as cheap as they used to be.

That's a Cup race car. I didn't pay that Fletch with Recaros and aircon, white paint is also a cost option.

I think it appears popular on here but I reckon in the big scheme of things they won't actually sell that many in white. How many people other than us lot would seriously order a white car these days?

Same but I decided against the black speedlines and stuck with anthracite in the end. Same for me with the aircon, I wasn't thinking resale, I was thinking of the odd occasion I'm stuck in traffic in the centre of Birmingham on a hot day. I'd rather not risk opening the window. lol

I paid £80 for it IIRC. I was sick of tripping over the massive network cable I'd made up. I reckon it was more a health and safety issue.

Different line apparently. That was why they couldn't do white previously. It wasn't because they didn't want to, it was down to logistics. £150 on the Cup, £360 on the 197, but that's not cofirmed. I suppose they do have to paint the wing mirrors, door handles and rub strips. lol

Coming from someone with a Mk1 V LOL. ;) You can get white on the 197 but at a higher cost for the paint than on the Cup.

I had them on the 172 and the 182 but I don't miss them on the Trophy. I'm not having them on the 197. They're just pretty more than anything. Headlights still have to light up the road effectively whether it's slightly orange light or the nice crips white light of xenons.

They are. The only real external differences are the unpainted rub strips, door handles and wing mirrors on the Cup. And they've removed the Clio badge off the back which looks a lot better IMO. I think the 197 looks the dogs. The 172/182 were very subtle and easily mistaken for a 1.2 by...

Cup pack on a 197 is £400 IIRC. Got the figures at work. Recaros aren't a cheap option at £850 but well worth it.

Welcome to CS. I'm amazed I've never seen you around Cannock as that's where I live. Blue or orange? You might have seen one of my Clios over the last few years. 03 Monaco 172, 04 Arctic 182 and currently the Trophy until Jan when it will be a white Cup.

I asked about that earlier as Masters had a red one. F & F only applies to factory orders. They've already got the car.

I can't remember what I PM'd you now but with the options I've had it's a dam good price. Yeah, Brum again. I don't mind the car coming from them, the next time they see it will be trade in time though. lol

I've placed my order. Final spec white Cup, recaros and aircon. Bargain.

As has been said, no more left to order. Only ones already at dealers. We checked last night.
