Yes, Williams 0001 was used by Performance Car in a review alongside the 197 Cup.
I prefer to see a car like that driven and then written about rather than sat around gathering dust.
Nope, the Cup spoiler is OTT. It's fine without. Maybe if I parked at McDonalds more often it would be okay. If they did something similar to the one on the V6/Trophy I'd consider it, but even then I don't think it really needs one.
They're standard on the Cup. I think that's an early car. It looks like it's the same one they used at the press launch.
You can see they're red on Marcs racing blue demo with the anthracite wheels: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=289473&highlight=197+Cup
These are links to the large images so I figured it best I put them as links.
I'm so glad I've stuck with the anthracite alloys.

It was sold as part of a collection first. The guy who bought the collection then sold it back to Renault as he only wanted the F1 stuff. It wasn't really as expensive as you would think. Well, not close to what Rob values 0002 at, but still a hell of a lot more than any other Williams you...
He's also on CT. He told me he'd purchased a key ring the other day, and hoped he wasn't tempting fate. I'm sure other motorists have been trying to drive into me all week.
And Mark. :o The feeling is mutual.
Don't worry about the plate Jay, I don't usually blank them out. Here's the rest...
I purchased one with the USB modem the other day for one of the guys at work. He prefered the modem over the stick as it's easier to squeeze it on the table on a train without the stick poking out the side of the laptop.
He only really uses it for a little surfing and mainly getting his email...
I've just grabbed a copy on the way back home (lift off the old man as I'm car less). Very impressive on first squint. Very much like Evo before the face lift. I'm even more excited about getting the Cup now.
Yup, waiting for an 08. I have issues and don't like 5* plates. It's been ready for 4 weeks. lol
They've put some rear speakers in it today for me.:approve:
Have a similar finish to those on a Golf GTi. Lovely looking wheels. Catherine has them on hers, there are pics on here if you search, or I'm sure she'll be alone in a bit with some.
Yeah 197 Cup. They've been around £100 less than anyone else who quoted me. £538. That's with one fault claim, one none fault and 30 points. Covered for 16k miles a year with the car on the drive. Plus I'm 31.
I will when I've got a picture of the new one. I don't know if I should have a nose at the new car tomorrow when I collect the Megane. It might spoil picking it up. lol
Dam website is down!! That never happens. Hopefully the pics will be back in a bit. Dam Russian hosts.
I'll be paying less on the Cup than I was on the Trophy. The Trophy being Group 17 the 197 15. I've gone with Direct Line for the Cup as I'm due to renew on the 5th of March.
I had agreed a p/x with the garage, then Dan asked me if I'd sell. That was all dependant on him shifting his 182 so it was't finalised until a couple of weeks back.
No problems with the Trophy. It's spot on.
That does look like an oil leak on the drive doesn't it. lol It was just water trapped between the splitter and bumper.
Yeah Paul, it did sell for peanuts, but more than the P/X I was offered. I didn't advertise it, Dan who bought it approached me when he saw I'd ordered the Cup.
He's...
After owning the car since June 2005 it's time for 007 to be collected by it's new owner. I've given it a wash and brush up ready so here are the final pictures before it goes.
It's the longest I've ever owned any car, and for good reason. It'll take some serious beating in the fun stakes...
