TDC sensor is a common one. When you're turning it over it cranks really fast but does nothing.

Don't do the carbon bonnet! I'm not a fan. I suppose it is your car though lol. I also think silver works the best on Monaco. Makes the paint looks really fresh and bright.

Glad that exhaust is gone. Was looking at this when it was for sale and that exhaust was a massive down point along with those god awful wheels. Can't wait to see you turn this around.

Rallye looks great! You weren't at the RR day at EFI last year/the year before were you with it? I ran a Mk5 ZS there and ran the same power as one :/ Get yourself over to some Chester meets. Ash. does most of the organising up that way and his meets are always a good laugh.

Even if it's just general maintenance it's worth putting it in a project thread, more people will read it and can help with any questions you may have, and also it's nice when you come to sell you have a list to show how much work you've done on it for any potential buyers from here.

Sounds like the MOT testers have been out giving it death to make it do anything untoward. Take it somewhere else yourself for a drive in drive out MOT.

Would never buy a wrapped car. You've no idea what the wrap could be hiding if you do choose to take it off at a later date.

Nice work on stripping the DCi down that quick. I've always kind of wanted a sport rep DCi, think they make a really cool daily, especially if they are an 80 or 100 that's been modified.

I'm not sure which one of those I'd rather have.

I think I prefer that tbh. Jon.G had that on his Trophy and it looked brilliant. I think the 197 style ones and the standard Clio ones look a bit busy as they don't match eachother.

Yeah if they don't give a warranty your only come back is "not fit for purpose" but if they tell you all the problems (like they have) then it's exactly as described. But yeah, absolute bargain for someone that can a) trailer it or b) lives very close.

This one isn't for me, hence posting it. I wouldn't post a potential buy on here first. But in answer to your question yeah I'm getting rid of the 1.2 and getting a 172. I did think that but it depends if they put it down as a trade sale which by the way the advert is worded would be my guess.

I thought that. I wouldn't want to buy it and drive it home though. I know it is really made a massive deal of on here but it'd be just my luck to drive that home and it go pop. If I lived close I'd be 100% grabbing that.
