Oh yes.... :D
But just keep in mind that email is stored server side. You can cache it locally so the "last view" of you email account is stored on that "device" when you are offline, when you go back online your client will re-sync itself..so you can make it behave "like" pop3 but still get...
Yah. It's nice!
Imp/Horde is just horrible!
Roundcube is easily as nice aesthetically as @mail with the bonus that it's free!
You don't need much to host it, PHP & mysql + some configuration job done.
(more complex if you need TLS because you need certificates and a unique IP)
Check if the host has a webmail server..... If not and you've got the ability to host a PHP site, then you could put up your own webmail using roundcube, which is one of the nicer webmail clients.
This is where using IMAP really comes into it's own, because it's server side (barring what I...
IMAP is incoming.
With IMAP the mail is stored on the server. The big advantage here is that IMAP supports folders, so the server stores Inbox & Sent mail (plus whatever heirachy you may want).
As long as you have the login, you have access to all your email. If you're out of the office...
yes, pop3 downloads email. You will have to configure in outlook when and how often you want it to remove them from the server.
Personally I'd go for IMAP as it has far more benefits.
Copper oxidizes quicker than gold though, which is why gold has traditionally been used on pcb interconnects.
That said, we had a batch of PCB prototypes that we didn't build for about 4 months, we didn't realise that they'd been "silver" finished. By the time we came to use them they were...
Indeed. Capacitance is the real killer with high speed signals though....
Anybody who believes that spending more than 10 quid on a cable seriously deserves to have the money liberated from their wallet just for being a dumb ass.
Wonder if they'll ever make "now and next work correctly". That's my biggest gripe!
Foxtel (Newscorps australian pay tv server) works correctly, you highlight a program in "now and next" and it gives you the information about the highlighted programme.
On sky pressing information gives you...
One of them the receiver has TMC so gets traffic updates over classic FM. The other doesn't.
TMC is a paid service in the UK, so the extra cost covers the license tomtom have to pay.
I know somebody whos gas and electricity keeps getting "hijacked".
They've built a load of flats next to his house (his house is 61), and they're numbered 61a, 61b, 61c...etc.
People keep ordering gas or electricity and everytime somebody does it, they end up changing his too! First time it...
I wasn't referring to mac vs windows threads. I was specifically talking about "PC only" threads or "mac only" threads. I think you'll find that most mac threads will have been hijacked by a windows user spouting things such as "Fashion Accesory" or "Overpriced" or other such crap!
You're...
You can get office 2008 for mac. Includes microsoft entourage which is the mac equivalent of outlook.
Or use vmware fusion or parallels for running windows while in OS X.
My experience is somewhat different. Most mac owners couldn't give a flying f**k about windows - yet pc owners seem to get a bee in their bonnet about macs! Mac owners seem to have to defend themselves because windows owners can't stop trolling!
If you go through the "PC" threads on here...
Yes and its main use is for removing windows viruses so that you don't accidentally send one on to a windows users.
Even the link you've posted shows it removing windows viruses!
In the "olden" days people would just take a new map from the local petrol station when they fancied a newer updated one, after all, they'd already paid for an older one previously! ;)
Smaller isn't always better! I think the form factor is about right, small phones suck ass big style.
The iPhone was considerably more powerful than any phone that was around at it's launch, technology has moved on since then.
I seriously hope that the new one isn't any smaller!
Yeah. I installed it once just before it released to check that there were no major compatability issues with our software, I checked both 32 & 64. I found a crap load of bugs in Vista 64 relating to 32 bit themed applications, I was rather suprised that I found so many. On the bright side...
What part is wrong? That's it's crap? Even if it wasn't crashing, it's still crap. It's a miserable failure.
If I didn't have to install it I'd go with XP, but unfortunately I do have to do some development work on vista.
Roll on Windows 7 when hopefully the "car crash of vista"...
I would do, but I can't install the drivers without it crashing!
User error can be ruled out. As for unsupported hardware, this little lot is hardly obscure.
GA-P35C-DS3R motherboard
GeForce 8800 GT graphics card
Q9450 Core2Quad processor
2GB DDR3 RAM
Machine works perfectly in...
I've spent all morning trying to install vista on my new machine at work...
..I'm still trying. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install (kept randomly crashing) and now keeps crashing. I can't even install the motherboard drivers without it crashing - and they won't install in safe mode either...
humn. You really need to see the "ports" section that daz mentioned earlier, but that isn't showing up on your computer!
When you insert the cardbus card does the computer go "Bing Bong"? Have you installed the drivers for it?
