Not really no but I loved my Note2 until I broke it and replaced it with an S4 (because the Note3 wasn't out but wasn't that far off either). I'll have one but not right away as £649 for a phone is nuts to me to (£890 if you want the ghey watch to).
The Note 2 fitted into my pockets...
WHAT??? How??? Doing it bare bones alone comes in at less than what they want:-
Used Ph1 172 engine - £450
Consumbales - £120ish (Gearbox oil, coolant, Aux kit)
Labour - £120
Total - £690
I quite fancied the Note3 but just buying a new SLR has put the lid on the coffin of that idea. TBH the Galaxy S4 is still pretty much where it's at but the Z1 is an awesome device to (Sister in-law has one) so it really comes down to what interface you prefer - Samsung Touchwiz Vs Sony Z UI...
It doesn't have to be CLIP, any decent diagnostic equipment should be able to see engine speed via the CAN/K-Line or via generic EODBII. Just bare in mind that the data output may be slow via a generic interface especially via something like ELM Scan but that doesn't matter for the purposes of...
No, French engineering is the rubbish black plastic clip that help it on from factory which always breaks. The cable tie "mod" is blatantly a motor-sport upgrade and only found on the purest of thoroughbred racers
Ultimately yes but really, I prefer to know what the actual problem is before going out and spending money on parts based on a guess as it *may* be a wiring issue somewhere in the gearbox loom area (another common fault area on the X65)
On what system, just EM? Personally i'd take it to someone armed with CLIP or AutoLogic because my personal experience with SnapOn equipment with Renault vehicles isn't great and they're only as good as the software update version to (Some garages flat out refuse to pay for updates). It sounds...
The older crank sensors and the multiplug are a common weak point which is why Renault have updated them both to a newer "Blue" unit. I just wondered if this had been fitted when you changed the crank sensor as getting the wires the wrong way round would most likely cause this issue.
Ideally...
Pretty happy with that reading tbh. No brake ducts or PMS top mounts allowed though :( - TBH I kinda saw that coming.
Interesting though that technically the RS2 would be allowed on standard cams but shame remapping to compensate for it wouldn't be.
If the coilpack has 12v reference power and is known to be working on another vehicle then there is only one reason it won't be firing and that's the trigger lines aren't being controlled. These are ECU controlled earths and the only thing that normally stops these firing is when the ECU itself...
I'm not really sure why anyone would want an SLR for shooting HD Video so its not a feature I plan on using but I have to agree that the 3" touch screen in amazeballs (Coming from the 1.3" screen of the 350D anything was going to be better though really).
Well, changed my mind yet again! Every secondhand 650 body that was supposedly 2-6months old seemed to be fetching silly money or was in terrible condition and I couldn't find one new for less than £480 so I decided to buy a new 700d with kit lens for £550
A bit more than I wanted to spend but...
Re: Cannon body upgrade advise
Looking at them both I prefer the extra features of the 650D (Mainly the touchscreen and built in HDR) so think i'll go that route as the price difference isn't that much more.
Thanks for the help and pointers though
Mick
Hi all, not really a massive poster in this section but I've currently got a 350D which has given me years of trouble free service. The screen is now getting too small for my old eyes so I'm thinking of upgrading it to a newer body with a bigger display but am unsure of what to get and as I'm a...
