Never fit a secondhand bearing IMO. Also if you chip a tooth off the abs ring your gonna get a warning light on, and the abs wont work. In my experience if the ring is fitted to the disc the new disc came with the ring fitted. Dave

Panel filter is deffo worth it. Put one in my 172 yesterday & cant believe the difference in throttle response.

Mine was the same. Tightened up cap and ok now. Wash off with brake cleaner then rinse with plenty of water. As long as cap is tight water wont get in when you rinse it.

I have the same on my 172. I have never really had full faith in the brakes tbh.

Mite be just as easy to buy new ones. They usually come in a plastic pressing so all you do is eye them up level then they will be perfectly spaced.
