The bottom of the laptop will connect the ports you can see in the second picture, there should be a bit to release it afterwards when you have finished too.

Eddie, I got a sample of the Duragloss from Alex on my last order and I think I might be switching after I've eventually used some ones I've got.
I sometimes apply the spray of CitrusWash while I'm applying it to the rest of the car instead of the wheel cleaner and as you say does the same job really, I think it's probably down to the WheelGuard making it easy to remove the dirt.
I have Goodyear GSD3's I think they are maybe GSD2 and I'm impressed with them, so much better than budget ones that I had before. I am tempted to try some more next time though.

I would stick to stuff that you know more about and seen results from.
Look at this guide from Polised Bliss about claying, the key is to make sure you have the clay gliding over the surface.
If you can I would do a polishing stage after the claying if you can.
I've got a 4150 which is older then the one you mention but it still has Wi-Fi and bluetooth. I thought I was going to use it for alsorts when I first got it but I have ended up just using it for sat-nav and even that isn't that often.
The miracle cloths are just microfibres by the looks of it.
The Spray and Shine is sold by them as a all in one product but I can't imagine it is effective at any of them. If you spray that on and wipe it off on a dirty surface as suggested you would scratch the paintwork.
