Surely a good trader will know the cars he is selling? Otherwise, he's not worth buying from and not good at his job.
Not knowing for sure is not fair enough.
They are pretty safe. Not heard any bad stories from re-maps.
I had mine remapped. It doesn't make a big difference to power, just better throttle response and and a bit more pull lower down the rev range. Depends on the map, of course.
Pointless? Why you replying then?
I try to show an interest in your car and you take it the wrong way. Figures. Don't worry, no more will be asked/commented under this subject.
It was an honest question, so dry your eyes. I was just keen to know what Vee owners moved to; whether they'd had their fun or moved to something bigger/better etc...
I'll post whatever I want, thanks.
What do Vee owners buy after their supercar experience has ended? Surely, there ain't much that can fill the Vee's boots, so to speak, other than proper supercars?
Also, it would appear that a lot of Vee owners have another car. Why is that?
Probably about right. Anyone not into cars will laugh at them. People who are into cars will love them or hate them. There is, however, nothing to 'get' about them. Clio with 2 seats, lots of kit and a large engine. If that's what you like, fair enough. If that is not for you, fair enough...

The only thing I like about the Vee is the sound and the rarity. After that, nah!
Just for fun, I thought I’d survey the V6 with some people from my work. As a lot of owners say people look at them, I was curious to find out the reason they looked.
The 10 people I asked are completely random – some are into cars, some are not. 8 replied within the timeframe - here’s what...
Hearing ya!
I too never thought I'd buy a bigger car, especially moving from the Cup! I soon changed my mind after driving it. You also get a lot for the money (2nd hand anyway) and the reliability, which I like.
I've nothing against people who like and own the V6 but I don't think it's a...
Thanks - I know.
I guess it's what you want from your car. Personally, I don't want people staring at me and my car, whether it be through mocking or admiration. Thinking outside the box is fair enough - put a V6 in the middle of a Clio and make it RWD, but don't make it look like a...
