172 Cup had no ABS or traction. 172 did. Turn offable. Changing at around 6800 should work, max bhp. Just don't hit the limiter.

You want the wheels to be as close to spinning up as possible. TC will sense the wheels slipping and reduce the power, meaning a slower start.

Seems like you were interested a bit. Just try a few starts yourself, see what works. It's not easy to get right but you'll get a feel for it eventually. Then you will need to book in for a new clutch!

Flaw mean floor? It wasn't an M3 then! M3's are normally very quick, although you do have a 182, so... Build up revs, drop clutch, floor throttle until you can't see behind you for smoke. Best in the wet. TC off. You see it a lot on TG.

V6? Same.

So 5.5 is just a guess. Sub 6 seconds is a very good run.

Sweet! You'll love the engine - I'm sure you've already tried it. I'm not a fan of the auto but the smooth power delivery is quality! It never feels like it's trying. Switching from the Clio to this is such a difference.

As above. I just went with IK, for the noise. Tried a Magnex exhaust whish is fairly quiet but didn't like it. Looked gash too.

Seat shouldn't rock and have you got fuel? Below 40 miles, the computer blanks, although doesn't flash.

I had a drive in a 197 before buying the BMW. I was impressed, mostly by the improvement in quality but also the overall feel - like everything had been tightened up. I didn't get a chance to boot it as it was very busy on the roads but first impressions; it was nice. Compared to the 172 Cup...

Whatever, all I'm saying is, most people will not achieve the published 0-60. Or they will a couple of times before something snaps. And I have seen a couple of V6's struggle to get below 7 seconds. In gear times is where it's at.
