Maxogen's rule. Excellent as part of a package imho. And not that badly priced compared to other kits on the market. May or not be placebo but definitely pulled much better in the higher gears with the maxogen. I'm told they sound nice too, but my 2.5" straight through exhaust with decat kind...

I'm sure it will work... The GrpN ECU I had on my 172 made a difference to the throttle response, without question. Of course it will be the same at WOT but it's the rate at which it opens with respect to throttle input which is the difference.

No mate. I can do what I want to do by sending the req. files from my old PC into the shared folder of my new one. Just seems so odd that it doesn't work the other way!!!

That's it in a nutshell. I found the biggest difference betweent the Cup and the FF was the way it handled, not it's straight line pace. This biggest factor in this is whether or not you got a good one in the first place.

I followed the instructions and fitted my maxogen in about 20mins, not counting the accoustic valve. You've either got it or you haven't ;)

It's a crank case breather -It relieves any excess pressure and channels it back into the inlet where any oil is burnt during combustion. If you didn't connect it you'd get small amounts of oil sprayed all over the back of your engine. Car would still run fine though. I was considering buying...

The errors I get don't seem to show up in the event viewer?! last logged event was like 17:38.... I've just tried to access the shared docs twice but it doesn't show up.

4 packets sent, 4 recieved. So I guess ping was Ok? Both pooters are running XP (one is MCE but that shouldn't make any odds I don't think)

Right, I've fetched my old PC from my ma and pa's and connected it to my router. I want to transfer some of the files on it to my new PC before I format the old one. I can see/use the files on my old PC from my new one, but not the other way round. The shared folders on my old PC show...

I did some filiming of mine in car on a Sony digicam.... and it hardly picked up any of the sound. Makes it sound quiet in fact! Strange!

The gears are 'longer' in the ph1 172 ph2 172 and 172 Cup gear ratios are identical. Would it be fair to say you like your Renaultsport Clios?! lol
