I dont know - I spend on anything other than Petrol for my Car and my missus would spew.every time she catches viewing BB,Hillpower etc websites all I get is "And you can forget that, ur not pi$$ing about with that car"!!!:(.Ah married life -...
dont understand your guys economy figures. My GF drives our 172 monday to friday (VERY conservatively like never revving over 3 1/2 grand) and we get 31 mpg. This drops to about 30 - 31 when I get in it:devilish: havent done a big motorway run yet but I know most people on here are quoting at...
Just to settle this colour argument once and for all. Monaco blue is the best colour without a doubt. I looked all over for one but couldnt find one so got a black un in the end. Flame red is nice too (looks a lot better on the road than in pics IMO) Dont get a black one cos they are completely...
Just to add my two peneth into the pot here
Yank cars might be big gargling v8 monsters but theyre really something that your grandads into arent they? totally uncool.
Yes the Clio V6 is desirable to us lowly 172/cup/valver etc owners but £25k? Impretza money and they dont come near really...
Id go to a normal garage. We have a chain up north called motosave who are similar to kwik fit (spotty 17 year olds tinkering with your motor) and when you take your car to them they ALWAYS feel the need to constantly blip the throttle when theyre pulling the car onto the ramps....WHY??

Well my mates Nova 2.0 (red top 150bhp) is quick, but I wouldnt say its going to give a 172 or 16v a complete panning.
I wouldnt race one. Unless its a real old bag of sh*t a nova with a pucker engine conversion would just totally trash a...

GR - is it possible to have it colour coded, but the labout costs would be stupidIMHO i dont like it, looks tacky
couldnt agree more. I think with a nice new motor like a 172/cup you have to choose mods very carefully to avoid that tacky...
novas are brilliant. Ive been in a 2.0 non turbo and believe me they are amazingly quick, far quicker than a 172 and the handling is brilliant. If you can afford the insurance a pre modded nova is one of the best VFM cars you could possibly buy. Just make sure that the conversion was done by...
Bigger wheels = Engine does more work to make one revalution of the wheel = less power to distance covered.
Answer is a straight yes. Bigger wheels will definately have some degree of adverse performance on your car.
awful awful awful. Clear lights, lexus lights eeeuuk they look so cheap. Would rather just leave them standard. Those black ones dont do anything for me either even tho my 172 is black.
I know what Id say to a dealer if he refused a test drive. Feck me if your spending 25 grand on a car you WILL test drice it before you even think about putting a deposit down. I think dealers sometimes get a bit big for their boots thinking that they can pick and choose who can test drive the...
I posted this in the ICE forum a while ago but its taken me a while and about three different sign shops to get them done!
heres some pics of them on my 172

your gonna love it mate. Had mine 2 weeks now and absolutely love it! As its a new one see how much you can control the urge to thrash it when you should be running in ;)
bloody hell thats near me. M18 is in the selby area isnt it? Im about 3 junctions further up the m62. Hope everyones OK anyway, at least the car sounded intact even if it was on the roof.
