just for future refence that diagrams bang on m8. Just got to finish a stealth box Im working on (So the boss cant see the 6x9s Im putting in) and my van will be bouncin!
I had this on my forst car, an old Mk1 Fiesta. Car would make a really loud metallic knocjing sound and then the wheel nuts would be loose. Unfortunaely I didnt keep it long enough to find out what the cause was, but Id say it was somethong running out of true that vibrates the nuts loose.
Anyone know where I can find a diagram that shows which connectors on an ISO block go to which wire? I need to know the wire locations for rear speakers (not colours of wires)
Ta!

The words "pumping" and "Cliff Richard" should never be used in the same sentence m8!
Lowering onto standard shocks is no problem, youll get a harsh ride to begin with but it will mellow out after the springs have bedded in. Oh and your shocks WILL wear out faster then they would have done with matched ones.( this has happened to me on my last 3 cars!) But feck it it saves a lot...
Ive got a 172 but the williams is definately definately a more classic car. I remember when they first came out it was like WOW a fekkin williams and they were quite a sight to behold, a real headturner. The 172 is definately more stealth.
Obviously the 172 is a better car as it newer, more...
be sure to make clear with your insurance claim that the other driver admitted full responsibility at the scene....small thin but it goes a long way cos he could otherwise try and shift some of the blame one you and bang goes your no claims!
Dont loose sleep about not declaring mods. They deal with that many claims they wont check into everything anyway. Ive had a modded car into direct line who run their own garage and they never said anything about filter/brakes/zorst that were fitted!
Ive noticed it can sometimes be a little slow to get going unless you keep the revs above about 4000 but wouldnt call it a flat spot. If you have a flat spot theres something wrong with your ingition somewhere.
Turbo conversion would be cool but would probably cost about 4 grand, I personally...
looks a joke on a clio rerally though doesnt it?? you really need a jap supercar to make a carbon bonnet look good. Definately one for the crime gallery :)
yeah its dead easy, just draw round the carpet and cut it with a jigsaw. One youve got the carpet on it covers any little errors you might m ake with the cutting
